El origen de Fotografía Rodríguez es el establecimiento abierto en Toledo en 1878 abierto por Higinio Ros. Veinte años después traspasó su negocio a su sobrino, Eugenio Rodríguez Toledo, que murió en 1938, dejando el negocio a sus tres hijos: Pablo, Luis y JOsé Rodríguez Dorado. La Casa Rodríguez entró en decadencia en los años 60. En 1984, Luis Rodríguez finiquitó el negocio.
